Description
We will remove the old fork from your bike, and remove the headset bearing race from the old fork with a special removal tool. The bearing race is then fitted to your new fork. The steerer tube length of your old fork is measured and we cut the steerer tube of your new fork the same length (or shorter or longer based on your preference). The headset bearing preload nut is removed from your old fork if possible or if it's the non-removable type we fit a new one to your new fork (this part is an extra cost if not supplied). The fork is fitted to your bike, the stem fitted, and headset adjusted. The front brake is fitted to the new fork and the brake caliper readjusted to complete the job.
