The Fusion 5 Performance is the ultimate result of the work conducted around the ElevenSTORM® compound of the Fusion 5 range. Compound thickness, casing/compound bonding procedure, Lightskin® polyamide reinforcement, it’s 255g dedicated to speed, performance and the competitive instinct. The efficiency of its compound and its capacity to restore energy ensures unparalleled road holding.
Hutchinson Tubeless Ready design has several benefits, the main being puncture resistance. The absence of an inner tube eliminates the risk of punctures due to impact/pinch or burst. Comfort is also increased due to the opportunity to ride at a lower tyre pressure so less feedback from the road’s defects. There’s also increased grip thanks to a greater deformation of the tyre in curves and improved performance due to no internal frictions with an inner tube.
