Jagwire 2x Pro Shift kits deliver enhanced performance and style. Pro Polished Slick Stainless cables and Slick-Lube housing liners provide an upgrade over OEM cable systems, with enhanced shifting precision and long-lasting performance.
The 2x Pro Shift kit is designed to work with nearly all frames and shifting systems. And with small parts included for both road and mountain systems, this kit is quick and easy to install. 2x Pro Shift kits are offered in 10 colors to match Jagwire’s Pro Brake and Hydraulic Hose kits.
- Pro Polished Slick cables combined with Slick-Lube liners offer enhanced shifting precision and long-lasting performance
- All parts are included for a complete shift cable and housing installation on either a road or a mountain bike
- The kit contains extra-long inner cables and ample housing for large frames or continuous housing runs
- Formerly known simply as “Pro Shift,” these 2x kits are perfect for bikes with both front and rear derailleurs
- Includes 240mm flexible housing segment for use with road Shimano® Shadow type derailleurs such as RD-R9100 and RD-R8000
- Black kits contain gloss black housing with silver logos; Stealth Black kits have matte black housing featuring black logos
LEX-SL - linear steel strands around a Slick-Lube liner
Linear Strand, Lubricated
Linear strands of steel are used to encircle the Slick-Lube Liner creating a compressionless ring. This delivers responsive, precise, crisp performance necessary in shift applications.
STS-PS - pre-stretched, polished, slick stainless steel spiral-bound cables
Pro Polished Slick Stainless
Slick stainless cables undergo a polishing process to further remove imperfections. This creates a smoother surface with lower friction than PTFE-coated cables. With no coating, these are highly durable and compatible with all performance housings and lubricants. Typically used on high-end bikes, by riders wanting improved performance. Gold tint is applied for easy identification.
