DESCRIPTION

The SRAM R2C Aero SL-1150 shifter set features the R2C (Return to Center) technology at a lower price. After every shift it immediately and automatically returns to the starting 'center'. No more stress, awkward hand positions, or loss of concentration. Just focus on your search for speed. The shifting blades are made of lightweight alloy and have an optimized ergonomic shape for comfort and natural handling. Rear shifting is indexed for fast and flawless gear changes, while the front shifter is designed for use with SRAM Yaw™ front derailleurs.

TECHNOLOGY

R2C

Unlike traditional ‘clocking’ bar-end shifters, the R2C mechanism returns the shifter blade to its ‘home’ position after each pull or release stroke. This spring loaded feature allows the rider to maintain the blade and hand position for optimal aerodynamics and concentration. Allowing for up to 40 degree blade adjustment, the R2C ‘home’ position is customizable to match any rider’s fit, whether using Straight, Ski-bend or S-shaped bar extensions.

YAW

With a front derailleur cage that rotates to maintain a consistent angular relationship with the chain, Yaw technology eliminates the need for shifter trim. As a result, shifts feel more direct and precise, delivering an unmatched performance advantage in front shifting.
