Description
Merida’s eBig Tour 400 EQ is the perfect hardtail e-mountain bike for those needing an electric trekking bike with a comfortable seating position and the functionality of fenders, lights, and carrier, but don’t want to miss out on detours up the trails. More versatile and durable than a standard hybrid electric bike and more functional than a traditional e-hardtail, the eBig Tour EQ is ideal for New Zealand conditions. Shimano’s new EP8 motor provides a whopping 85Nm of torque, as well as software that allows you to adjust preferences from your phone.
The triple butted aluminium frame with smooth welding is hydroformed and seamlessly integrates the long-range, fast-charging Shimano E8036 630Wh battery. A casting motor bracket creates a clean, integrated appearance, while the two-component battery cover protects from impacts and grime.
