Introducing new to New Zealand
The humans behind Wattwheels are natural born challengers, always questioning the status quo. You can do this too by always asking yourself, with one tiny but powerful word; “why?”.
Expect to be the first to meet new concepts and breakthrough ebikes that substantively change New Zealand for the better.
Features
Our city trikes have been hugely popular and great for flat firm surfaces, but we have been constantly asked for something a little more suitable for trails and off-road. The XT model comes with a mid-drive motor capable of in excess of 80km on a charge with plenty of torque and fat tyres for a more comfortable ride. Add a Suntour NCX suspension seatpost for the ultimate rail trail Trike! (can be purchased directly from the retailer)
A new addition to our trike range with similar features to our city model. Comes with a dual battery option so you can run two batteries off the same controller for double the range. Extra battery + $899
The wide tyres help improve stability and makes a much smoother ride if on an un-even surface. Comes with a powerful front light.
Use it as a normal trike without the electric feature or switch the assistance on when you need a hand. Also comes with a full electric feature by using a thumb throttle to drive the trike.
All XT models now come with hydraulic brakes and also included is a handy park-brake feature to stop the trike from rolling away if parking on a gradient.
If you require any more information or would like to discuss something with us, please use the contact form at the bottom of the page
Trikes do still require some balance and camber can make riding them a little more difficult, so we ask you test ride a trike if possible before ordering. This is very important so please try and do so if you have not ridden a trike before.
Trike XT Car Racks - Wanting to transport your trike? Our friends at Bikes & trikes Hamilton have developed and built these fantastic racks - available for purchase directly from them.
